Corners of Sanctuary Return to the UK To Finish What They Started

After three years, a worldwide COVID shutdown, a revolving door of restrictions, and several false starts, Corners of Sanctuary (COS) are heading back to the United Kingdom, bringing their “This is Metal: Finish What We Started Tour” across the pond. Following the band’s 2020 UK visit being cut short in light of the pandemic, COS looks to pick up the pieces and trek their classic Heavy Metal sound around the British Isle.

“It’s been a long time coming,” says COS guitarist Mick Michaels on the band’s UK return. “I don’t think any of us first thought it would have taken so long to go back…a few points along the way even had us thinking that it may never happen. But it is, and we are super excited.”

The tour, powered by Blackstar Amplification and Samsun Cymbals-United States, is being presented by British-based Pure Power Darkside Management. Support for the tour includes select performances by UK acts Sour Tusk, Viral Strain, Stonepit Drive, and Scarred By Truth.

Upon Corners of Sanctuary’s return to the United States, the band will be supporting Spread Eagle on May 20th and will be performing at SonarFest 2023 this summer on four separate dates. Additionally, COS will continue to work on their next full-length album as well as plans for a new EP, “Metal Up,” later this year.
