M.A.S.A.C.R.E – Omar Pizarro (Lead singer), Coqui de Tramontana (guitars), Martín Tuesta (guitars), Miguel Tuesta (bass) y Hans Menacho (drums) – have released their official video clip for “Brutalidad” one of the most classic songs from their album “Demoledor”, a key and well known record in Latin-American Metal
M.A.S.A.C.R.E, whom acronyms stand for (Metal Avanzando Siempre Ante Cualquier Rechazo Existente) roughly and literally translated as
“Metal Going Forward Always Against Any Existing Rejection”, have returned to the stages in 2021, but this time meeting up again with Omar Pizarro, who has been part of the band between 2000 and 2006 having two official shows during that same year, from which the festival Demoledor Fest has been noteworthy of M.A.S.A.C.R.E’s anniversary celebration for their “Demoledor” Album, an undeniable classic within Peruvian Metal.
The “Brutalidad” video clip filming was taken place in Lima, taking advantage of Pizarro’s short but worthy visit to Peru, who currently lives in Spain. With a simple but yet powerful focus on the video clip’s visual aspect, this new version of “Brutalidad”, has Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Epica, Delain), who from Hansen Studios, in Denmark, has taken charge of the mix and master of the single.
Coqui de Tramontana – guitarrist and also one of the founding members from M.A.S.A.C.R.E shared:
“This new production has been done out of the urge of being able to record with Omar during one of he’s visits to Lima.
“Brutalidad” and “En el Infierno” where the chosen ones and it took us a couple of days to setup, record and edit before leaving all in Jacob Hansen’s hands, under Omar’s recommendations and the result has caused an impact due to such potential and elegancy and the same time… pure European school”.
Within M.A.S.A.C.R.E’s well known history they have shared stage and been guests for many international shows for great bands such as Quiet Riot, Kreator, The Knife, Fito Páez, Criminal, Iron Maiden, Testament, and many other.
They have also been part of many tribute albums like: “V8 no murió” a Tribute to V8 from Argentina with the song “Momento de luchar”, Tribute to “Leucemia” (1983-2003) from Perú with the song “Barras malditas” and on “Tributo Internacional Kraken” from Colombia, with the song “Oculto”.
This so far is a new chapter in the M.A.S.A.C.R.E history. There is NO doubt on why they have such a well earned reputation as one of Latin-America’s Metal reps, with goals to expand towards new horizons, proudly taking with them their Peruvian flag towards new journeys.

M.A.S.A.C.R.E – Omar Pizarro (voz), Coqui de Tramontana (guitarra), Martín Tuesta (guitara), Miguel Tuesta (bajo) y Hans Menacho (batería) – han lanzado el videoclip oficial de “Brutalidad” uno de los temas clásicos pertenecientes al álbum “Demoledor”, un disco clave y referente del metal Latinoamericano.
M.A.S.A.C.R.E, cuyas siglas significan (Metal Avanzando Siempre Ante Cualquier Rechazo Existente), retornaron a los escenarios en 2021, pero esta vez rencontrándose con Omar Pizarro, quién había formado parte de la banda entre los años 2000 y 2006, llevando a cabo dos presentaciones oficiales durante ese año, de las cuales, vale destacar el Demoledor Fest, en el cual M.A.S.A.C.R.E celebraba el aniversario del “Demoledor”, un clásico innegable del metal peruano.
La grabación del videoclip de “Brutalidad”, se llevó a cabo en Lima, aprovechando una corta pero fructífera estadía de Pizarro en Perú, ya que, en la actualidad, él se encuentra radicando en España. Con un enfoque sencillo pero poderoso en el aspecto visual del videoclip, esta nueva versión de “Brutalidad”, contó con Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Amaranthe, Volbeat, Epica, Delain), quien desde Hansen Studios, ubicado en Dinamarca, fue el encargado de la mezcla y masterización del single.
Sobre este lanzamiento, Coqui de Tramontana – guitarrista y uno de los miembros fundadores de M.A.S.A.C.R.E comenta: “Esta nueva grabación se da por pura necesidad de grabar algo con Omar aprovechando una de sus visitas a Lima. “Brutalidad” y “En el Infierno” fueron las elegidas y nos tomó un par días montar, grabar y editar para luego dejar en manos de Jacob Hansen, por recomendación de Omar y el resultado simplemente nos impactó por su potencia y elegancia a la vez … pura escuela europea”.
Dentro de la historia de la banda, M.A.S.A.C.R.E ha logrado ser banda soporte de diversas bandas internacionales como Quiet Riot, Kreator, The Knife, Fito Páez, Criminal, Iron Maiden, Testament, entre otras.
