Multi-instrumentalist Michael Huebner (pronounced HEEBNER) has released his dynamic concept album House On Cemetery Hill, now available for streaming everywhere. This masterful work blends elements of metal and progressive metal, showcasing Huebner’s exceptional talent and storytelling ability.
House On Cemetery Hill narrates a chilling tale of a family that relocates to a house adjacent to a cemetery. On their first night, a young boy encounters the spirit of a witch, who recounts her story of corruption and downfall. As the witch’s tale unfolds, the boy finds himself tempted in ways that parallel her own tragic fate.
To bring this haunting story to life, Huebner collaborated with an impressive lineup of vocalists, including former Hammer Witch singer Wayne Abney, current Iron Jaw singer Todd Pack, and Lyric Noel. The album also features Anthony Walker on drums, while Huebner himself handles all guitars, bass, and keyboards. All music and lyrics are penned by Huebner, reflecting his unique artistic vision.
A veteran of the Texas music scene, Huebner has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including being named “One of the best 7 guitar players in Dallas” by Dallas Observer Magazine. House On Cemetery Hill marks his first foray into conceptual songwriting outside of a band framework, offering a fresh and engaging listening experience for fans.
Listeners can find the album on all major streaming platforms, including YouTube, Amazon, Spotify, and iTunes.
