THE LEGENDARY LEMMY KILMISTER OF MOTÖRHEAD REVIVED IN HELLCROSS'S RELEASE

On January 26th, the Peruvian band Hellcross presented “Murder One,” a song paying homage
to the late leader of Motörhead with an intense lyric video. The track is now available on
Hellcross’s official YouTube account.
Lima, January 2024. A glass of Jack & Coke, speed, adrenaline, and women. Lots of women.
The members of Hellcross know well the formula that created the colossal monster that
Lemmy Kilmister was in life, as the music of Motörhead’s singer and bassist was always an
undeniable reference for them.
Thus, when the performer of “Ace of Spades” left this world in 2015, Hellcross felt the urge to
create something to honor him and keep his legacy always close. In very little time, “Murder
One” was born, a song with a stimulating sound and lyrics made to give goosebumps to the
true fan.

“The smell of Jack & Coke, a red box of smokes
He is the iron fist. He is the Dr. Rock
He has the guts to never give-a-fuck
And if you cross his way, you better play the game”

Several years after writing it, the Peruvian stoner groove metal band, currently comprised of
Pedro Vásquez “El Barbas”; Jaime Iriarte “Mike Iné”; Álvaro Reynaga “The Beast”; and Willy
Fernández “el Chanchoceronte,” decided to record “Murder One” to include it in the reissue of
their EP “Man of Mayhem.” Finally, the official release of “Murder One” along with the lyric
video was launched on January 26th on the official YouTube channel of Hellcross.
“This is a tribute and, above all, a celebration of Lemmy’s life. The song has many references to
his attitude and the rebellion he always had towards life’s difficulties,” comment the members
of the Peruvian band.
In addition to the lyric video already available on YouTube, “Murder One” can be found on
other Hellcross platforms: Spotify, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, and is included in the
“Men of Mayhem” EP for sale through their website. Hellcross is already preparing the
production of a music video for “Murder One,” which will be made with contributions from
Lemmy and Motörhead fans worldwide. Those wishing to participate in the creation of the

Founded in 2014 in Lima, Peru, Hellcross is a Stoner Groove Metal band currently comprised of
Pedro Vásquez (vocals and guitar), Jaime Iriarte (bass), Álvaro Reynaga (drums), and Willy
