As announced a couple of weeks ago with the single + music video “2THEMOON”, Swiss electronica/noise/synthewave solo project from Bertrand Pot (known form being the guitarist of Herod) JISEI‘s just released its debut EP.
Self-titled, this one is available right now on vinyl & Digital via Cold Smoke Records and for full-streaming on all legal platforms + Bandcamp.

In Japan, a jisei is a farewell poem written before a ritual suicide or certain death.
Bertrand Pot’s electronic/noise/synthwave project is a bit like that, what he would shout to the world if he had to leave with his head held high in a final burst of honor. A shrill cry, a dull anger and the promise of peace when the machines finally fall silent.
In its purest form, analog synthesizers come together to interpret the soundtrack of a post-apocalyptic film, supported by heady rhythms and layers of unhinged sound. EP to be released autumn 2024.
In his other incarnations, JISEI works with various other artists on different artistic collaborations ranging from rap to drone.
