Following the release of “The Plan”, Swiss alternative-rock five-piece Sonic Train (with ex-members of Malavida) return with their brand new single “No Kids”, out now on all major digital platforms.
The new track marks the next step in the band’s evolving sound — and offers a new glimpse into their forthcoming album, due for digital release this September.

Formed in Geneva in 2024, Sonic Train have spent the past two years building a sound that refuses to stay in a single lane.
Somewhere between the modern alternative-rock tension of Dead Poet Society, the melodic ambition of Nothing But Thieves, the riff-driven immediacy of Royal Blood and the electronic scale of Muse and Imagine Dragons, the Swiss five-piece bring together powerful guitars, pop instinct, punk attitude and contemporary textures.
At the heart of Sonic Train is a direct, instinctive approach to songwriting. Effective riffs meet a solid rhythmic backbone, while keyboards add an electronic edge to the band’s alternative-rock foundations — all with one objective: making songs that hit quickly and stay there.
After introducing a darker side of their sound with previous single “The Plan”, Sonic Train now return with “No Kids”, opening the road towards their first full-length album, set for digital release this September.
