JOE HASSELVANDER – “ARMOR PLATING”

Joe Hasselvander is a name deeply connected to the history of Heavy Metal, Doom and Hard Rock, with a career spanning decades and an impressive list of collaborations and bands, including Pentagram, Raven, Blue Cheer and his own The Hounds of Hasselvander, alongside his extensive solo work.

With “Armor Plating”, Joe returns with a powerful new solo statement, rooted in Heavy Rock, Doom and classic Metal while maintaining his unmistakable songwriting and performance style.

The album is particularly notable because Joe handles vocals, guitars, bass and drums, making “Armor Plating” a complete multi-instrumental performance.

The album was produced by Joe Hasselvander and Angelo Quaglia, recorded at Traq House Recording Studio in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and features cover artwork by Andrea Bere.

“Armor Plating” is also the second Joe Hasselvander solo album released by Savant Guarde Records, following the 2025 album “Fire on the Mountain.”
