Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest 2024: A Record-Breaking Success
The 2024 Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest exceeded all expectations, shattering attendance records with nearly 3,000 fans in Jackson, TN. This year’s fest saw an incredible doubling of last year’s attendance, with armbands selling out before sundown, and the amphitheater packed from start to finish, despite the scorching heat.
“We sold out of armbands before it even got dark! The turnout was insane,” said festival organizer Zach Moonshine. “The amphitheater staff told us they were blown away by the size of the crowd—it even surpassed some of the bigger events they’ve hosted.”
A Thrashing Lineup of Metal Mayhem
This year’s lineup featured a diverse array of metal acts from across the country, including Soma Irot, Sun Mantra, Quiescent Mantis, EMBR, Crazy Mad Ride, H1Z1, Diabology, Illusion Of Fate, The Red Mountain, Arsenic Addiction, Violence System, Summoner’s Circle, and headliners Autumn Lies Buried. From thrash to doom and gothic metal, each band gave their all, with Diabology’s raw, high-energy thrash set being a standout performance.
