Score A/V presents… : “MT. PÈLERIN” the first single from JISEI‘s (electronica/noise/synthewave solo project from Bertrand Pot, known form being the guitarist of Herod) forthcoming 4-track instrumental EP, due out in September 2024 via Cold Smoke Records.
This first release, a sonic transcription of an unfinished existentialist quest, takes the form of a catharsis.
Faced with the absurd, this project attempts to transcribe musically the absence of answers felt about the meaning of existence.
This feeling is also conveyed visually by Swiss artist Olivier Lovey, who directed the video clip for “MT. PÈLERIN”. , sets for physical/digital release on Fall 2024.

Bertrand Pot’s electronic/noise/synthwave project is a bit like that, what he would shout to the world if he had to leave with his head held high in a final burst of honor. A shrill cry, a dull anger and the promise of peace when the machines finally fall silent.
In its purest form, analog synthesizers come together to interpret the soundtrack of a post-apocalyptic film, supported by heady rhythms and layers of unhinged sound. EP to be released autumn 2024.
In his other incarnations, JISEI works with various other artists on different artistic collaborations ranging from rap to drone.
