London heavy metal band VOLTSTORM have been confirmed for one of the capital’s most storied metal venues, joining WARRIOR SOUL at
The Underworld, Camden on Saturday 26 September, alongside very
special guests GYPSY PISTOLEROS.
The show marks the 35th anniversary of Warrior Soul’s landmark
album “Drugs, God and the New Republic” a night aimed squarely
at an audience that takes heavy music seriously.
It is a hometown date for Voltstorm, formed in London in 2019 and
fronted by vocalist John D. Prasec. The band arrive at The
Underworld off the back of a run supporting NWOBHM heavyweights
Tygers of Pan Tang and Demon, where Maximum Volume Music called
them “heroically metal in all the right ways.”
Voltstorm’s 2024 album “Break The Silence”, produced by Alessio
Garavello at Rogue Studios, took a 10/10 in Powerplay Magazine
and a 10/10 in Denmark’s Metalized, with further coverage across
Germany, Italy, Japan and the US. The band have played the main
stage at Hard Rock Hell alongside Ronnie Romero, Kee Marcello and
Uli Jon Roth, and made their international debut at Croatia’s
Pannonian Rock Festival on a bill with Tarja Turunen, Rhapsody of
Fire and Destruction.
