Neverfade are best described as a modern traditional heavy metal band rather than a hard rock band. They are part of the self-described New Wave of Finnish Heavy Metal (NWOFHM) movement, aiming to revive the melodic, twin-guitar-driven sound of 1980s heavy metal while giving it a contemporary production and energy.
