Guess who’s back? Satanic Sex Cult is what happens when a bunch of musicians who’ve spent years playing, touring, sweating, and making noise together decide they’re not ready to shut up. Same people, new project. Still rooted in punk rock, but with no rules about where it goes next.
After a few months locked away in the rehearsal room, they recorded their first EP themselves, then handed it over to Jim Diamond for mixing and mastering, the same Jim Diamond behind records by The White Stripes or The BellRays.
Pressed on an ultra-limited run of tapes, the EP exists almost exclusively at their shows. No fancy rollout. No endless stock sitting on a shelf. You catch it, you grab it, or you miss it.
These days, SSC still does pretty much everything themselves. They’re recording their first full-length album and dropping a new track from it every two months on streaming platforms.
The first single, “Tout doit brûler”, picked up airplay on several radio stations and even made its way onto KEXP.
Today, the notoriously censored French punk band is back with their second single, “Cassez-vous les clodos”, and, yes, it’s every bit as abrasive as the title suggests. BUT… despite the title, and just to reassure the more delicate souls: the song has nothing to do with homeless people.

Satanic Sex Cult is a punk band from the south of France, formed in 2024 by members of Illegal Process. Drawing equally from punk, noise, black metal aesthetics, transgressive literature, and nihilist philosophy — the band develops a sound with no ceiling and no floor.
For fans of The Misfits, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, Speedball Baby, Dead Boys, U.S. Bombs, and The Damned — and anyone who believes that everything that needs to be said should be screamed.
