Traditional, Power & Progressive Metal Project Unleashes New Album Today
September 14, 2026 — TITAN BLOOD, the metal project led by songwriter, keyboardist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tony Rowe, has officially released its third full-length album, When the Tide Subsides.
The new album marks the latest chapter in TITAN BLOOD’s unconventional journey, bringing together musicians from different corners of the world to transform Rowe’s compositions into a powerful blend of traditional heavy metal, power metal, and progressive metal.
Following the release of the album’s opening single “Unite Them” on September 11, When the Tide Subsides is now available for listeners everywhere.
Fans of Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, and Sabaton will find plenty to explore across the new album, which combines soaring melodies, powerful vocals, driving guitar work, progressive elements, and stories inspired by fantasy literature, society, culture, and personal experiences.
An International Metal Collaboration
TITAN BLOOD is not a traditional band built around a permanent lineup. The project is the ongoing musical vision of Tony Rowe, whose songwriting, keyboards, programming, production, and continued drive have served as the foundation for the project since its inception.

That philosophy began with Rowe’s desire to write and produce his own metal after struggling to establish a local band that shared his musical direction. Rather than allowing geography or lineup changes to stop the music, Rowe turned to the internet to find musicians who could help bring his compositions to life.
The result was TITAN BLOOD’s self-titled debut album in 2020, which featured vocalist Nicholas Allaire of ANTIOCH from Canada, guitarist Steven Miller from the United States, and bassist Klaus Müller of Germany.
The project’s sophomore album, The Call of the Wild, followed in 2023 and featured Craig Cairns on vocals, Aleks Dolgy on bass, and returning guitarist Steven Miller, with Rowe handling mixing and mastering.
For When the Tide Subsides, Rowe continued building the project despite further changes to the lineup. Guitarist Simon Christie joined TITAN BLOOD in 2025, making his recording debut with the project on the new album.
