Denver Crossover Thrash Veterans Take Center Stage at Ratio Beerworks Alongside Axeslasher and Victim of Fire

Denver, Colorado – After more than three decades of keeping the spirit of hardcore crossover and thrash alive, Denver underground veterans CLUSTERFUX are taking on one of their biggest hometown appearances yet: headlining the official Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver Pre-Fest on December 3, 2026, at Ratio Beerworks on Larimer Street.

The special Pre-Fest event kicks off the fifth edition of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver, which takes over Denver’s legendary Fillmore Auditorium December 4-5. CLUSTERFUX will headline the December 3 Pre-Fest alongside Axeslasher and Victim of Fire, making the night an essential stop for fans of uncompromising underground metal, hardcore, and crossover thrash.

The announcement arrives at a particularly explosive moment for CLUSTERFUX. The band recently unleashed their new split 7-inch with Conflict Resolution, released July 3, 2026, through Chain Reaction Records. Featuring the tracks “Infected,” “Magats,” “Just Like That,” and “American Gestapo,” the release delivers four tracks of razor-sharp riffs, breakneck speed, crushing grooves, and raw hardcore aggression.

THREE DECADES OF CROSSOVER CHAOS

Formed in 1995, CLUSTERFUX have spent nearly three decades carving their name into the Colorado hardcore and crossover scene through relentless DIY work, ferocious live performances, and an unapologetic commitment to the underground.

The band has toured alongside crossover legends D.R.I. and shared stages with influential acts including Agnostic Front, Napalm Death, The Accüsed, Circle Jerks, Integrity, and Subhumans, establishing CLUSTERFUX as one of the enduring forces of American crossover.

Their latest full-length, Defy, released through Beer City Records, further cemented their reputation, while the new split with Conflict Resolution proves the band has absolutely no intention of slowing down.

Now, CLUSTERFUX are bringing that same chaos to one of Denver’s most anticipated metal events of the year.

DECIBEL METAL & BEER FEST: DENVER

The official Pre-Fest on December 3 will serve as the opening salvo for the fifth edition of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver, which returns to the Fillmore Auditorium December 4-5.

The main festival lineup features an all-star collection of extreme metal and heavy music, including Down, Suicidal Tendencies, Pig Destroyer, Kylesa, Cro-Mags, Wayfarer, Black Breath, Intronaut, Haggus, and In the Company of Serpents.

But before the Fillmore doors open, CLUSTERFUX will kick off the weekend at Ratio Beerworks with a hometown headline performance that promises to be every bit as loud, fast, and filthy as crossover fans could hope for.

For a band that has spent 30-plus years fighting to keep the underground alive, headlining the official Decibel Pre-Fest in their own city is more than another show. It’s a damn good reminder that authentic, hard-working underground bands can still earn their place at the big table without compromising what made them dangerous in the first place.
