Purgatory Metal Fest returns to Almada on 16 and 17 October 2026, bringing two days of underground Metal to Hollywood Spot, in Feijó.
Organised by Purga Productions, the 2026 edition brings together 13 bands from Portugal and across Europe, with international representation from Finland, Austria, Spain and France, alongside a strong selection of acts from the Portuguese underground scene.
Across two days, Purgatory Metal Fest 2026 will present a diverse line-up built around the intensity, attitude and independent spirit of the underground Metal community, bringing together established and emerging names from different corners of the European scene.

But Purgatory Metal Fest aims to be more than just a music festival.
The event will also feature the JomsViking Clan, bringing a strong Viking culture and historical reenactment element to the festival.
Throughout the event, the JomsViking Clan will present Viking performances and medieval combat simulations, bringing action and historical reenactment to the festival experience.
To complete the experience, there will also be traditional food and drink stalls, as well as areas dedicated to crafts and merchandise, creating a welcoming atmosphere and giving the audience even more reasons to stay and enjoy the festival beyond the concerts.
