Biography
Hailing from Glasgow, The Red Lite District, a formidable four-piece punk ensemble, has been leaving an indelible mark on the vibrant Scottish music scene. Over the course of the last half-decade, their relentless commitment has seen them electrifying audiences through live performances and consistently churning out fresh material. The band’s impressive discography boasts five EPs, including “Vices” (2016), “Do You Want Total War” (2017), “Grime” (2018), “The Bang Gang” (2019), “Peephole” (2020), “The Shape of Things to Come” (2021), and their latest creation, “Pleasureland,” which saw its full release on January 5th, 2023.
Reverberating across punk and rock airwaves globally, all their EPs are readily accessible as digital releases on major online music platforms. While frequently likened to influential predecessors such as The Damned and The Dead Kennedys, The Red Lite District’s latest offering, “Pleasureland,” adds a new layer to their sonic palette.
