DRÅPSLAG – KÄNGORNA PÅ!

On September 25, Mariestad, Sweden’s Dråpslag release the single “Krigets hundar” — the first taste of their highly anticipated debut album “Kängorna på!”, due for release on December 4, 2026 on CD, vinyl, and streaming via DiSTAT.
Formed in 2020, Dråpslag have quickly established themselves as one of the more interesting names on Sweden’s punk and Oi! scene. Following three well-received EP releases, the band are now ready to unleash their full-length debut: ten raw punk bangers packed with street attitude, Oi!, sing-along choruses and plenty of kir.
“Krigets hundar” — literally “The Dogs of War” — is exactly what the title promises: a straight-up, hard-hitting Oi! anthem driven by attitude, energy and a chorus made to be shouted back by a sweaty crowd.
The band’s previous EP, “Kir och komplimanger”, received strong reviews, with Rockbloggen.se describing Dråpslag as “one of Sweden’s most interesting underground groups in punk and Oi!”
With “Kängorna på!”, Dråpslag take another step forward. The album features six brand-new tracks, while the CD and vinyl editions also include the 2025 EP “Kir och komplimanger”, bringing the physical release to a total of ten tracks.
Adding an extra punch to the record, Tomas Jonsson of legendary Swedish hardcore/punk band Anti Cimex makes a guest appearance on “Pansarnäven.”
Dråpslag features members with backgrounds in bands including Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, Brute Force Trauma and Myteri.
Boots on. Volume up. Dråpslag are ready.
