Finnish alternative rock band Delfoi Road has released its debut full-length album, Body Resonance, which is now available on music streaming platforms. Founded in 2001, the band went through a long period of inactivity before returning to action in 2020 to begin working on new material. Recorded as a live session at Astia Studio under the guidance of Anssi Kippo, the album features a diverse collection of alternative rock tracks crafted with great dedication.

Singer Jani Nivala shares his thoughts on the album’s release: “It’s absolutely fantastic to finally have the record out for everyone to hear. I personally listen to a lot of music in album format; about 40 minutes of songs is just the right amount for a single listening session. We poured our hearts into this record and these tracks. We are truly proud of this diverse, eight-track collection! Music is the best!“
The personalities of the band members and the dynamics of their playing come through in a very honest way when listening to this album, which was recorded live using analog techniques.
Guitarist Janne Halla explains: “Given that the band took its first steps back at the turn of the millennium—in 2001—it is truly an incredible achievement that our debut album is finally being released 25 years later, in 2026. A great deal has happened over those years; while Delfoi Road has matured and evolved significantly as a band, the core has remained unchanged: a deep, genuine love for music. Playing together, composing, and performing our own music has never felt as good as it does today. Recording onto analog tape was a beautiful, communal experience—a process where ‘less is more,’ the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and every band member contributes their own musical input for the world to embrace.”
Drummer Sampo Oikarinen continues: “The live recording at Astia-studio was fantastic; on this album, the band plays and sounds exactly as I’ve always imagined. Live recording is the right way to capture us—getting everything down in one go. The album features a diverse range of songs, so the listener won’t get bored. There are accessible pop tunes alongside ambitious ‘epics.’ Something for everyone.”
Coinciding with the album’s release, the band is also launching a music video for the track “Another Way To Feel.” The video is compiled from footage shot at Astia-studio during the album’s recording sessions.
