US Power Metal Warriors Forge a New Chapter With Acclaimed Album and September Tour

Ice Howl proudly announces the release of their latest full-length album, The Ledger of Timeless Watchers , available now on all major digital streaming platforms. The album was released digitally on April 24, 2026 , with a physical edition through Alone Records (Greece) scheduled for release between September and November 2026 .

Blending the epic spirit of classic US Power Metal with traditional heavy metal firepower, The Ledger of Timeless Watchers showcases a band that has evolved without abandoning its roots. Fans of Judas Priest, Visigoth, and Grand Magus will find soaring vocals, crushing riffs, memorable hooks, and heroic songwriting that pays tribute to metal’s timeless traditions while forging its own path.

Formed in 2015, Ice Howl first earned recognition in the doom metal underground before gradually expanding into a more powerful and dynamic US Power Metal sound across three albums. The band’s current lineup came together in an unexpected way after bassist Mark Jackson expressed interest in joining during a 2022 interview on The Metal Forge . What began as an offhand comment quickly became reality, leading to the first rehearsal of the new lineup in May 2023.

Since then, Ice Howl has continued to build its reputation by sharing the stage with respected acts including Sanhedrin, Unto Others, Mares of Thrace, Tribunal, and the legendary Satan. The band has also delivered standout performances at notable festivals such as Legions of Metal in Chicago and Asheville Doomed & Stoned Chapter II in North Carolina.

Inspired by the release of The Ledger of Timeless Watchers , Ice Howl is now taking its music on the road with the newly announced Music of the Maiar Tour . Named after the immortal beings from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth mythology, the tour represents a meeting of powerful musical forces alongside fellow metal warriors Perennial Quest.

The partnership carries special significance, as vocalist Zebah Latifi has recently stepped in to handle vocal duties for Perennial Quest, creating a unique alliance between the two bands.

The band describes the collaboration as:
