Jumpscare announces the release of “Call of the Wild,” the band’s new single, available from October 20, 2026, on all major digital platforms via Sepulchral Silence Distribution.

With “Call of the Wild,” the melodic death metal band from Campania adds a new piece to the narrative arc begun with “Dear Mother” and “Rise and Fall”, two singles belonging to the same conceptual universe, destined to converge in the band’s upcoming concept album, which is currently nearing completion.
Jumpscare chose to reveal the project gradually, with each release adding something new through the music, lyrics and visuals. “Call of the Wild” continues that approach, introducing new elements that will connect with what comes next.

“Call Of The Wild” combines dark, cinematic atmospheres with sharp riffs and heavy rhythms, keeping the main elements of JUMPSCARE’s sound while pushing the band in a slightly different direction. The track also continues the themes explored in their recent material, bringing together aggression, introspection and tension.
The single was mixed and mastered by Simone Pietroforte at Divergent Studios in Bari, known for his work with Within Destruction, Distant, Signs of the Swarm, Carcosa and Viscera. Guitar and vocal production was handled by Sebastiano Di Martino at SDM Recording Studio, whose previous credits include Siberian Meat Grinder, Moscow Death Brigade and Imperials.
Drums and bass were recorded at the band’s own studio, while guitars and vocals were recorded at SDM Recording Studio. The entire production once again took place in Southern Italy, between Naples and Bari.
The band’s live album, recorded at El Barrio in Turin during their Italian mini-tour supporting Pestilence, is also available. For now, it can only be purchased in physical format through the official website, jumpscareband.net, together with the band’s official merchandise.
