Massachusetts/Rhode Island Thrash/Death Metal Force Celebrates Album Release With Metal Injection Feature and New Lyric Video for Title Track
Maidenhead is celebrating the release of its new album Maximum Clonage with a feature in Metal Injection’s Weekly Injection of New Releases, while simultaneously unveiling a brand-new lyric video for the album’s title track.
Officially released today, August 14, 2026, Maximum Clonage marks an important step forward for Maidenhead, delivering a relentless combination of classic thrash metal speed, technical precision, and old-school death metal brutality.
The new lyric video for “Maximum Clonage” gives fans another way to experience the title track as the full album arrives worldwide.

The album features an impressive roster of guest musicians, including Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth), who contributes a guest guitar solo to “Kill Or Be Killed,” and Glen Drover (ex-Megadeth, King Diamond), who delivers a guest solo on “False Masked Hero.” Rich Gray of Annihilator performs bass on six of the album’s eight tracks.
Adding to the album’s pedigree, Maximum Clonage was mixed by legendary producer Randy Burns, whose extensive credits include Megadeth, Death, Nuclear Assault, Kreator, and Possessed.
The Metal Injection feature arrives on release day, providing additional exposure for a record that represents a significant evolution for the band.
“Maximum Clonage is a big step forward from Maidenhead’s first release, Decapitation Of A Maiden, in terms of songwriting, technicality, performance and presentation and will keep the listener on their toes,” says guitarist and primary songwriter Zack Roberts.
Founded in 2013, Maidenhead has established itself within the underground metal scene with a sound rooted in the traditions of Megadeth, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Death. The band has shared stages with Artillery, D.R.I., Prong, Pyrexia, Deceased, and Blood Feast, expanded its touring presence throughout the East Coast, and completed its first California tour in 2025.
Maximum Clonage also introduces guitarist Vance Simmons and vocalist Zeping “Bella” Song on their first full-length studio performances with the band.
