Norwegian Thrash/Death Metal Veterans Deliver a Raw, High-Velocity Assault on the Second Single From Their Sixth Full-Length
Trondheim, Norway | Norwegian thrash/death metal force MANIFEST have unleashed their ferocious new single “World Is for Sale,” the second single from their upcoming sixth full-length album, Nothing Left to Kill. The track is out now on all major streaming platforms.
Listen to “World Is for Sale”
Clocking in at 3:41, “World Is for Sale” is a full-throttle thrash metal assault that wastes no time getting down to business. Driven by blistering riffs, relentless momentum, and an unmistakably old-school metal attitude, the track captures MANIFEST at their most aggressive and uncompromising.
The band explains how the track came together:
“World is for Sale had the working title ‘Thrasher’. Our producer Rune immediately decided that this track was a stayer for the album, just after hearing the shitty sounding demo recordings from our rehearsals. Like the working title indicates, it’s a full on thrash metal assault, and it’s got that old school vibe to it that reminds us of classic, early thrash metal at its peak. In the production we made sure to capture a raw, high-energy mix that gives the track its pure, headbanging punch from the opening riff to the final crash.”
“World Is for Sale” serves as another hard-hitting preview of what is coming with Nothing Left to Kill, MANIFEST’s sixth studio album, arriving September 18, 2026, through Sound Pollution, ViciSolum and Violent Media.
The new album marks a fierce return to raw, aggressive metal, powered by MANIFEST’s signature collision of thrash and death metal. With Rune Stavnesli once again behind the production, the band has crafted an intense and uncompromising record that embraces the energy, attitude, and sheer physical impact of classic extreme metal while pushing their sound forward.
Formed in 2000 in Trondheim, Norway, MANIFEST have evolved from an underground metal force into an international festival act, earning a reputation for explosive live performances and a refusal to follow trends. Over the years, the band has shared stages with heavyweights including Meshuggah and Napalm Death, establishing themselves as a formidable presence within the international metal scene.
Now, with Nothing Left to Kill, MANIFEST are proving they are not simply looking back at the glory days of thrash. They are bringing that spirit into the present with a record that sounds raw, dangerous, and very much alive.
