Norwegian metal force MATANZICK is officially confirmed for Runway Rock Fest 2027 , taking place May 21–22, 2027 at Starmoen Airfield in Elverum, Norway. The announcement places MATANZICK on a massive festival bill alongside some of the biggest names in rock and metal, including Dirkschneider performing a special Accept set, Roy Khan, Gotthard, Pretty Maids, H.E.A.T, Michael Monroe, Girlschool, Tank , and more still to be announced.

That philosophy was on full display with the band’s latest album, Chronicles of the Abyss , originally released November 28, 2025.
