Melodic Metal Band Ashes Reign Announces Independence, New Single "Awakening" and Debut Full-Length Album

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Melodic metal powerhouse Ashes Reign has officially announced its departure from Dallas-based Affiant Records , marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter as a fully independent band.

After a successful partnership with the label, Ashes Reign now moves forward with complete creative and administrative control of its music. The band will celebrate this milestone with the release of its long-awaited debut full-length album, Awakening , arriving in early October 2026.

The album’s title track, “Awakening,” will serve as the lead single and will be available on all major streaming platforms beginning July 22, 2026 .

Supporting the release, Ashes Reign is currently assembling a headlining tour that will bring the new material to fans across the country. The tour is being booked by the band’s longtime partners at Distilled Entertainment , ensuring the same professional touring infrastructure that has helped build the band’s reputation on the road.
