The celestialdynamic duo of The Cosmick Voice returns for the second half of their season six podcast with all new episodes on January 16th.
Over the last four years, the hosting team of Chris Natalini (Execution Order, former Blood Feast) and Mick Michaels (Corners of Sanctuary) have delivered a straightforward, hands-on account of the music business as seen through the eyes of working, independent artists.
“This season has been like no other. Mick and I have really let our guards down and talked open and as honest like we never have before,” said co-host Chris Natalini. “Both of us have been going through some pretty heavy things professionally, and it shows in our content.”
Capitalizing on four decades of experience, the good, the bad, and the often funny situational accounts are coupled with current topics and trends that are affecting the modern music landscape and the independent artist at large.
“We’re definitely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be able to translate our experiences, for what they’re worth, into a show centered around helping others…the blessing is really ours,” said co-host Mick Michaels. “It’s been an eye-opening and very therapeutic journey for me…I’ve really learned a lot.”
The show’s premise, which mainly addresses the independent, “in-the-trench” artist, is to address common pitfalls new, young, and veteran artists may encounter but also to highlight and accentuate the positives.
“There is so much negativity in this business that it often can bring an artist down and detract from the creativity,” Michaels said. “Our goal is to always shine a beacon of hope…. We want to relay that anything is possible, and hard work still pays off.”
Last year, The Cosmick Voice issued its very first official Cosmick Comic panel depicting the fictional misadventures of the show’s co-hosts. A series of subsequent Cosmick Comic caper panels are planned for 2024 and panel two is now available for free.

“I love doing this show, and you can hear that when we record an episode. I enjoy sharing what I have experienced,”Natalini added.”… and this podcast has definitely given me time to reflect, grow, and learn even after 30 plus years in the business.”
