NEW SONG “CHAOS WITHIN”
NEXT DEED from Luxembourg has released a new song called “Chaos Within”, featuring guest vocals by Cindy Gomes from the band Fallen Lies.
The song brings together Cindy’s voice with previously recorded vocal parts by NEXT DEED’s singer Alain, who passed away in March 2025.
Through the musical friendship with the members of the band Fallen Lies, the idea emerged to complete this song as a collaboration. Alain had already recorded his vocals, and Cindy was invited to add her performance on top of them, helping to bring the track to life while honoring the original vision.
“Chaos Within” is an energetic and intense song that explores the turmoil and unrest inside the human mind. Driven by powerful rhythms and dynamic vocals, the track captures the feeling of inner chaos and emotional struggle, while the combination of voices adds depth and a unique emotional resonance.
About Cindy Gomes:
Cindy’s musical journey began at the age of eight in a children’s choir where she discovered her love of singing. Over the next 20 years, she honed her skills in various pop and rock cover bands in Germany, gaining recognition for her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence.
In 2021, she returned to Luxembourg and became the lead singer and songwriter for the band Fallen Lies. Inspired by artists such as Jini Meyer (Die Lärmer) and Shane Greenhall (Those Damn Crows), Cindy brings raw emotion and energy to her performances, captivating audiences and leaving a lasting impression. Her journey from choir singer to rock frontwoman underlines her dedication to music.
About Next Deed:
Next Deed’s musical journey began with their self-produced debut EP ‘New Beginnings’(2023), mixed and mastered by Maxim Losch at Redville Studio. Its lead single “Lost Soul” reached #1 on the local iTunes Rock Charts within 24 hours, and the band celebrated the EP’s release with a debut show at a sold-out Rockhal Floor (L). The success was followed by ‘The Soldier – Act 1’(2024), the first chapter of an ambitious five-part conceptual storyline. Its lead single “Bulletproof” reached #1 within just six hours of release, confirming the band’s growing momentum.
As the band continued writing the next installments of their concept, they faced an immeasurable loss with the passing of their singer Alain Hertges in March 2025. The tragedy deeply affected the band and the community around them.
Yet, united by Alain’s passion, creativity and the unfinished musical vision they had built together, Next Deed made the decision to continue their work and honor his legacy.
