Brazilian/Canadian brutal death metal veterans Ophiolatry have unleashed the official live video for “Revenge,” captured during their powerful performance at Franco do Rock 2026 on July 24.
The performance captures Ophiolatry in the middle of a major new chapter for the band, following the release of their long-awaited comeback album, Serpent’s Verdict, and their return to the South American stage after seventeen years away.

Released through WormHoleDeath Records, Serpent’s Verdict marks Ophiolatry’s first full-length album in seventeen years. The thirteen-track release has reinforced the band’s reputation for savage, technically precise brutal death metal while diving deeply into themes of indigenous Amazonian spirituality, ancestral identity, resistance, pain, and rebirth.
The album was mastered by renowned producer Dan Swanö, known for his work with Opeth, Dissection, Dark Funeral, and countless other influential names in extreme metal.
Now, with the Serpent’s Verdict Tour 2026 underway, “Revenge” gives fans a front-row look at Ophiolatry’s current live incarnation and the sheer force behind their comeback.
