CRUNCHY NEWZ FOR PYRAMID

1) Hello Pyramid! Welcome to our Greek site! What is your purpose for the creation of this super-project?

Lance: Thanks for the interview 😊 The purpose is to unite and create a unique music experience for the Metal Community. It was a very methodical process and the results and responses have been extremely positive and encouraging.

2) How does this name came up to your mind?

Lance: It express the point that it’s very lonely at top and very crowded below metaphorically speaking 🤔

3) Introduce us the line-up of this super group!

Lance: It is the 4th album for this progressive metal super-project, in which Lance Sawyer, Bassist and Song Writer, is the main figure and collaborates with selected virtuoso musicians of the metal scene such as Tim Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest, ex-IcedEarth, among others), Andry Lagiou (The Harps), Harry. Conklin “The Tyrant” (Jag Panzer) on vocals, Mike Abdow (Fates Warning) on guitars and Chris Quirarte (Redemption) on drums, Adam Bentley (Arch Echo) on guitars and mixing engineer, Joey Izzo (Arch Echo) the master on keyboards and Perrine Missemer on the amazing violin.

4) Your last album titled as Rage is out! Which music genres can we find here?

Lance: It’s hybrid metal collective of old school metal crossed with a more new age symphonic progressive metal 😊

5) We saw that you give a lot of interest at the lyrics section. Which messages do you want to spread via your music?

Lance: It definitely a frequency on how we all feel, see life, politics, sadness, anger and loss 😞

6) A lot of powerful songs at your new album. Which song gets the most positive feedback?

Lance: To be honest they all have done extremely well it’s hard to pick which is better or not because they each offer such a wide selection of unique features.

7) And now what? What are the future plans of Pyramid?

Lance: To keep to music alive well and thriving. It’s a way of life and well being. The creative process and excitement of new Pyramid songs will not s for it’s just really the beginning

8) Make a wish for 2024!

Lance: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children

9) Do you plan to come in Greece soon?

Lance: We all would love to see Pyramid hit the stage and that’s definitely something we all would want to see.
