The journey of Runesaber began when Shaynie met Ian Bassett , a fellow guitarist and classical musician, while applying for SDSU’s Master’s of Music program. Their shared passion for heavy metal and classical guitar quickly forged a musical alliance, with Ian’s intricate leads becoming a vital component of the band’s evolving sound. Runesaber’s lineup is further solidified by Cory Noonan on drums , with Jeff Morrison handling production and bass duties , and Sol Moscol on bass for live performances .
