Seattle WA -On the heels of their NACC chart topping debut release in January, Seattle cumbia-punk duo LUCHA LUNA are launching a full remix album of the duo’s debut album BRILLA BRILLA on August 28th, 2026.

BRILLA BRILLA: Remixed hosts an all-star cast of heavy-hitting producers from across the globe working in tropical bass, latin house, downtempo electronic and more. Colombia’s CERO39 brings a dreamy analog reinvention to “Marca del Sol,” Brasil folktronica-bass legend Maga Bo remixes “Ritmo Eterno” with a reggaeton edge and global-bass ambassador Riobamba reinvents “Manzana Prohibida” in jungle fashion. Lua Preta (Angola/Poland) pound out an electrofunk “Don’t Get Out of Line”, Los Chicos Altos (Barcelona) turn poem-song “Ser Humanos” into deep house, QE-MA (Peru/Mexico) adds Afro-Peruvian punk percussion to “Camino por la Noche”, and Sonido Arrecho (Mexico City) rework “No Me Voy” into cumbia-rap, plus a “Brilla Brilla Mega Mix” by Lucha Luna co-producer Dr. Wam (Samuel Wesner).

Lucha Luna is a Seattle duo mixing latin percussion, heavy bass, punk vocals and reggaeton flows into an energetic expression of joy and rage. Formed in the unrest of 2025, Lucha Luna speaks to resistance, liberation, community and healing. Composed of Eva Vazquez and Thomas Arndt, the duo will be on tour in Europe this November. They have played extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest, will be playing Seattle’s Bumbershoot this summer, and were recently featured on KEXP’s Audioasis.
