Austrian guitar virtuoso Simon Ostini has officially released his blistering new instrumental single Waltz of the Vultures, out now via Hellbound Records. Starting his journey at just seven years old, Ostini built his chops early and never let up. From his time with hard rock band StageFright, touring internationally and recording multiple releases, to gaining recognition online and collaborating with major brands like Marshall Amplification, Beyerdynamic, and Polychrome DSP, he’s steadily carved out a reputation as a serious player.
After relocating to Sweden, Ostini expanded into session work and released his solo album Witches, further proving his range and versatility. He also appeared as a featured guitarist on the debut album from Swiss metal band I Won’t Skye. In 2025, he joined German metal act ELA, contributing to several singles and their upcoming studio album.
Drawing influence from legends like John Sykes, Doug Aldrich, Satchel, Buckethead, and Vinnie Vincent, Ostini brings a classic mindset into a modern metal world. You can hear the roots, but he’s not stuck in the past. He’s pushing forward.
