Incendiary punk quartet TASTE TESTORS recently released a rousing music video for the track “I Don’t Like Working On The Weekend”. Guitarist Nils Larson shares, “First off, the song is definitely about FOMO (fear of missing out). It’s for the unfortunate people mostly in the service industry who find themselves constantly missing shows, events, time with their partners because their job demands they work those hours, weekends mostly. It’s about having the courage to quit and find something else if that ain’t workin for ya.”
Speaking to the production of the video, Larson states, “We first met Mateusz Mittek (a.k.a. Dr. Polish Matt) while he was filming what looked like some killer shots at our show at Belltown Yacht Club. We had a concept of a story of the band members working crappy jobs (on the weekend) and rather be playing music. We all met on September to discuss this and Matt being so fast and organized quickly got all the shots and music with and the video was done and out by the end of November.”
TASTE TESTORS will release their sophomore album “Come Back” in early 2026, with an upcoming show scheduled for April at The Clock-Out Lounge with Sex Mex + Sux.

Comin’ up from the scuzzy, fentanyl-plagued city of Seattle, TASTE TESTORS are four well-aged, clean-shaven punk rockers playing punk rock music aimed at the whole worlds attention deficit weirdos of all the generations here and to come. With a sound more than a 1000% obviously influenced by 4 guys from Queens in 1976, they also will tickle the record nerds taste buds with hints of garage, bubblegum, early so-cal punk, and doo-wop.

They are not new to this either. The group is filled with Seattle scene veterans from bands such as The Briefs, Rabid Dogs, The Piniellas, The Greatest Hits, Clean Lines, and more. Since their conception in 2024, Taste Testors have played a handful of shows, opening for groups like The Adicts, The Queers, Black Ends, Fan Club, Kaleko Urdangak, MESS, Okmoniks, and Paint Fumes.
