Formed in 1992 in Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK. Extinction of Mankind are titans of UK crust punk. Fusing the apocalyptic fury of Amebix with the crushing metal weight of Bolt Thrower, EOM delivers a raw, d-beat assault. For over 30 years, they’ve remained fiercely independent and uncompromisingly political-tackling environmental ruin and societal decay. No trends, no compromise. Pure, devastating stenchcore. Founding member Ste on vocals (Slaktmask) and long time guitar player Scoot (DOOM, Retsu) are joined by Jamie on Bass and Goldie on Drums for EOM’s 5th full length album.
The album was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Joe Clayton at No Studio in Manchester at the end of 2025.
The first run of vinyl will be released independently through the bands own label XTINCTION RECORDS, (soon available also via 783 webstore), while CD’s and cassettes being released by 783 Label – with both formats available now for preorder (also including cash saving bundle)
