When asked to describe his new album “The Home Team Always Wins”, outsider alternative musician John Park Whipple states, “Music is a dream of the Ocean of Sky. Some things float to the top. Some things sink to the bottom. Some swim. I like to follow the dancers, favoring those who dance strangely, barefoot, on uneven ground whose every movement is a new universe.”

Weirdo Boy is the experimental solo project of J. P. Whipple. Whipple is also the singer-songwriter for the band, Tycoon Machete, performs in drag with The Erin and John Show, and makes tens and tens of dollars releasing Americana music under his own name. “Weirdo Boy” is taken from the title of his bildungsroman (available on Amazon and from mysterious white vans parked at the gas station).
