UK deathcore/metalcore band Seasons Awake has dropped their latest brutal single, I: Dreamstate, marking the band’s return to the extreme metal scene. Out now, I: Dreamstate delivers the crushing 7- and 8-string guitar riffs, downtempo compositions, and relentless breakdowns that have become the band’s signature sound, while pushing the boundaries of heavy music even further.
Formed in 2016, Seasons Awake has been steadily growing their reputation in the underground metal community. Their 2021 collaboration with vocalist Jack from Black Mass (Slamming Brutal Death Metal) elevated their sound to new levels of aggression and intensity. That year, the band released Desolate, featuring C.J. McCreery (ex-Lorna Shore, ex-Signs of the Swarm), marking a significant shift in their sound with a heavier, more dynamic approach.
2023 saw the release of Martyrdom, which shattered previous records for the band, racking up over 10,000 streams on its second day alone. With the momentum from Martyrdom propelling them forward, I: Dreamstate is poised to be one of the heaviest and most innovative offerings from Seasons Awake yet.
