…For the record…
In a world that seems to be accelerating at an ever-increasing pace, Fields of Næcluda (literally “Fields of the Cloud Tree”) offers a much-needed pause for reflection and introspection.
Hailing from Grenoble, the heart of the French Alps, the band draws inspiration from pop, rock, and atmospheric metal, crafting a soundscape where ambient harmonies flow seamlessly into saturated guitars and deeply emotive vocals.
Following the widespread critical acclaim of their debut album, Fields of Næcluda returned to the studio in late 2021 to begin work on their second album. With Chris Edrich (known for his work with Leprous, The Ocean, and Klone) at the production helm, the project took shape amidst significant challenges.
After navigating the disruptions of a global pandemic, undergoing lineup changes, and dedicating months to refining their sound, the band is set to release their highly anticipated sophomore album in the fall of 2024.
