Dark as fuck Death Metal served by former and current members of Gorerotted, Extreme Noise Terror, Hellbastard & Winterfylleth etc., Evolving Cortex once again showcases a brutally intense riff-fest with plenty of blast-beats as well as vocals filled with assonance, alliteration and consonance. Eschewing the typical themes of politics and religion, the band instead focus on the typical theme of death for their lyrical subject matter and take musical influence from the bands they grew up listening to.
