San Diego-based metal band Fraxures is set to unleash their latest single, “Blackheart Serenade”, featuring the powerhouse vocals of Travis Neal (formerly of Divine Heresy) and the thunderous drumming of Fred Aching (Kings of Thrash / Powerflo / Bulletboys). With a lineup that merges raw intensity and technical precision, Fraxures continues to carve its path in modern metal, delivering crushing hooks and sinister melodies.

Following the success of their 2022 EP Firewater Sessions—produced by Billy Graziadei (Biohazard)—Fraxures solidified their reputation for seamlessly blending aggression and melody. The EP showcased the band’s dynamic range and set the stage for their next evolution. Now, with Blackheart Serenade, the band takes another step forward, expanding their sound and vision.

Mixed by Joel Wanasek (Ice Nine Kills / Machine Head) and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More / Cynic / Sepultura), Blackheart Serenade offers a glimpse into the haunting energy that defines Fraxures. The song’s punishing riffs and infectious melodies mark the beginning of a bold new chapter, both dark and electrifying. The band is currently in the studio finalizing their upcoming full-length album, Hexes, which promises to push their sound to even greater depths.
