Seattle-based art rock/baroque-pop ensemble ZARA, known for their sweeping cinematic arrangements and emotionally immersive soundscapes are excited to share the new single “Chaos” on July 18th ahead of the release of their full length debut “Unmasking Music”, scheduled for release September 12th, 2025.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Zara is an art rock/alt-rock/baroque-pop project known for cinematic, symphonic arrangements and emotionally powerful performances. Fusing the raw energy of alternative rock with orchestral beauty, Zara crafts immersive music that speaks to transformation, identity, and emotional truth.
Zara was founded by Seattle-based musician and visual artist Max Zara Bernstein (she/they). While Bernstein is the primary composer, arranger, producer and designer for Zara, Zara’s live ensemble has had several iterations. The current line-up includes Max Zara Bernstein on guitar and vocals, Dave Braun on drums, Mal McDowall on bass, Julian Nguyen on viola, Nikhita Sheller on saxophone, Henry Mansfield on Keyboards, and Peter Nelson-King on baritone and trumpet.
