Cameroonian-born producer and songwriter LOVETH BESAMOH opens a new chapter with “Inside”, the first single from his upcoming EP Riverbed. Out July 18 via Inner Basement, the track is a swirling, emotional entry point into a record that explores longing, emotional distance, and the desire to be seen.
Written and produced by Loveth and recorded with his live band, “Inside” blends hazy guitars, detuned synths, and submerged vocals into a dreamlike soundscape. The lyrics “Let me inside / I’ll break again in your display” cut through the fog with disarming honesty.
“It’s about emotional disconnection,” Besamoh shares. “The kind where you’re right there next to someone, and you still feel locked out.”
This marks the second EP where Besamoh’s live band contributes sonically, bringing a new depth and urgency to the recording process. Their presence adds a raw, human dimension to the production. Intimate yet expansive. Fragile yet immersive.
“Inside” sets the tone for Riverbed, a five-track project that fuses elements of dream pop, psych rock, and post-punk with Besamoh’s own sonic language. A sound shaped by his Cameroonian upbringing and the experimental undercurrent of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
“Inside” will be released digitally on July 18th, 2025 on all platforms.

LOVETH BESAMOH is a producer and songwriter based in Rotterdam. He has roots in Cameroon, where he developed his rhythmic foundation playing percussion in church and at boarding school. His music fuses elements of new wave, kraut punk, electronica, shoegaze, afro rock, jazz, post-punk, and psychedelic, anchored by the percussive influences of his upbringing.
What began as a solo project led to a string of singles and three EPs, before evolving into a high-octane live act.
With a sound that spans from King Krule’s raw intimacy to Death Grips’ abrasive energy, LOVETH BESAMOH has delivered electrifying performances at Popronde, Motel Mozaique, Eendracht Festival, Grauzone, Sniester, and Vestrock.
