Freddy VS , bathed in the light of the moon in St. Louis, MO. Blending pop punk with notes of metal, prog, and classic rock, this 5-headed monster and their stage demon have been relentlessly stealing hearts across the world. And just in time for the spirits to rise this horror pop punk group unleashes TWO chilling singles!
The first of which, a cover of Metric’s classic “Black Sheep”, was released on October 1st. A fitting release for the band as they’ve been playing the song live for many years and wanted to bring that blood pumping energy to listeners all year round.
Secondly, on October 17th, Freddy VS are releasing a brand new original single called “Last Call”. The song stands out among the new material the band is currently writing as a much more pop forward affair. An excellently fun slice of humor, excitement and a catchy chorus. But never fear, you’ll wake the dead as this track is sure to get your dead heart pounding and your bones rattling. Last Call was inspired by the premise of “what if you wrote a song about a skeleton who can’t use a smart phone because he doesn’t have fingers? Like the bones won’t make the phone work.” A humorous premise the band couldn’t pass the opportunity to bring to life.
About Freddy VS:
Their shows are deadly fun; summoning demons, carrying coffins through crowds, floating tables, mysterious voices possessing venue speakers – all while putting on a tongue-in-cheek performance that demands to be enjoyed. Freddy VS is the antidote to crowds standing still.
