STIGMA Launch “SECOND CHANCE (Deluxe US/Export Edition)”

Melodic metal and dark rock outfit Stigma have released “SECOND CHANCE (Deluxe US/Export Edition)”, a global-focused expanded edition aimed at bringing the band’s catalog into new markets. Their sound mixes dark romantic hooks and metallic bite for fans of HIM, The 69 Eyes, Volbeat, and Type O Negative.

Formed in 2021, the German quartet features Gerald Zinnegger (vocals, lyrics), Markus Mantau (guitar), René Chlebnitschek (bass), and Bernd Paptistella (drums). Early EPs “Last Order” (2022) and “First Call” (2023) set the blueprint, followed by the band’s debut full-length in 2025.

Momentum outside their home territory has climbed fast. The band recently crossed 20,000 Facebook followers and has seen noticeable growth in Brazil, Mexico, and the US. On the media front, Stigma landed playlist placement, college radio support including a Top 30 showing at WLTL 88.1FM, and a slot on the NACC Next chart.

Stigma also drew international attention for their award-winning “Lies of War” music video, earning honors at festivals in New York, London, and Cannes.

At the core of the project is a message about confronting personal stigmas instead of hiding from them. That theme has helped build a devoted fan community known as the Stigmaniacs.
