The track delivers the band’s trademark fusion of relentless aggression , surgical precision , and unapologetically raw social commentary . Vocalist Kaelin Wilkins states:
“Given the current political climate of the US, I felt it necessary to write about silencing a lot of them. I felt like America just needs a hard reset, and it starts by not giving these fascists in free-world clothing the clout they have. They owe us a debt of silence. A ritual dismemberment of corrupt leadership. Cutting of the tongue is symbolic as well as literal.”
Mob Mentality promises to be another boundary-pushing evolution of AUTUMN LIES BURIED’s sound, a chaotic blend of slam , mathcore , hardcore , hip hop , and deathcore —what the band calls “a beating with a cinder block.” This sonic onslaught is designed to leave listeners bruised, yet strangely empowered.
