BIBLIOTEKA’s new album “Matryoshka” channels the raw energy and chaos of life on the road between Mexico and Europe. It’s a bold, gritty collection of songs about transformation, self-empowerment, and owning your space—even when you’re still figuring it out.
Vocalist and bassist Mary Robins shares, “This album is everything we lived through in that crazy stretch from the wild nights in Mexico to endless days on the road in Europe. It’s about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, embracing the chaos, and finding strength in the mess. Every song is a piece of that journey—and a promise to keep pushing forward, no matter what.”
“Matryoshka”is a fearless, high-octane record that turns the band’s wild touring stories and personal growth into unforgettable, sweaty rock ’n’ roll anthems and will be released on Thursday February 12th, 2026 and will be available on opaque orange vinyl from the band directly.

“It’s clear from witnessing just one gig that Robins possesses star power; there’s something Cobain-esque about her commanding vocal style, gritty determination, prowling stage demeanor, and sharp features. It wouldn’t at all be surprising if they became Seattle’s next breakout artist.”— The Stranger
“Pretty Ugly showcases [their] signature boisterous rock sound they’ve become reputed for… yet another slice of punchy punk and wistful rock.” — EARMILK
“From her facial expressions to her movement across the stage, it was like a lightning bolt ran through her. Robins’s vocals had a new hard-hitting bite, reminiscent of Kathleen Hanna…” — The Stranger
“[‘Tick Tock’ is] a fun, rocking number with a trippy and trance inducing video to go along with the overall psych mantra of the track.”— Austin Town Hall
Biblioteka are a femme-fronted power trio blending punk, grunge, and garage rock through fiery performance and a sound charged by the raw power of Mary Robins (vocals/bass). The band formed after a chance Ty Segall ticket exchange spiraled into loud music, mutual obsession, and no turning back. Joined by Hexx Rodriguez (guitar/vocals) & Jules Tennyson (drums/vocals), Biblioteka is fueled by a shared passion for rock and roll, born from the Seattle underground.
