“Dödsbringaren” is the third single from Bödel’s critically acclaimed debut album of the same name, which is being released to radio worldwide today. The album, originally released on January 30, has continued to receive overwhelmingly enthusiastic praise.
Even before the band released their first single, “Bilan Faller,” in June 2025, from the EP “Välkommen till avrättningen”, there were signs that something powerful was about to erupt. When the band posted a short, simple video message on social media during their very first rehearsal, merely to announce their existence, it hit like an unexpected bombshell. Record labels and concert promoters from around the world quickly began reaching out, and now, here we are, with their debut album officially released.

ABOUT BÖDEL
Born out of the legendary punk soil of the Skaraborg plains (Mariestad and Tidaholm)–the same ground that shaped bands like Wolfbrigade, Asta Kask, and Anti Cimex, Bödel delivers uncompromising crust punk deeply rooted in the Swedish underground scene.
Fronted by Leya, just 19 years old yet already a full-force powerhouse behind the microphone, the band is led alongside her father Arvid (The Crown, Deny), Henke (Pastoratet, The Liptones, Vänsternäven), and new drummer Micke (The Crown, Adept, Impious). Together, they create a sound that blends classic crust and hardcore with a dark, apocalyptic edge driven by Leya’s relentless, doomsday screams.
“Dödsbringaren” features 12 furious new tracks showcasing a band in full attack mode. The CD edition also includes all of Bödel’s previous recordings, 23 tracks in total, for a complete dose of Swedish apocalyptic punk.
