International Symphonic Black Metal band MorteMutta released a new single «Hrungutsutr». The release was recorded at “Eijefjorden Studios” and mixed/mastered by Chris Highlander.

Bridging the ancient fjords of Norway and the neon landscapes of Japan, MorteMutta is a “Fjordmetal” project formed in 1999. Founded by members DC (Norway) and JJ (Japan), the duo crafts a cinematic universe combining Nordic and Japanese folklore, multilingual vocals, and unconventional instrumentation like the koto and roaring chainsaws. MorteMutta focuses on world-building and mythological storytelling over standalone songs. An infamous, defining moment in their history was the complete destruction of their early album masters by JJ.
