The Brazilian melodic death metal force Erudica continues its steady international ascent with the announcement of two additional high-profile shows in Europe. As a result, the upcoming tour stands as one of the most significant milestones in the band’s career to date—broadening its exposure while reinforcing connections with audiences, promoters, and festival networks across the continent.
This growing international momentum reflects a band operating at full creative strength. Blending intensity with a striking visual and conceptual identity, Erudica has quickly emerged as one of the most promising new names in Brazilian metal on the global stage.

The announcement arrives amid strong international response to the band’s latest single and music video, “Resistance Unchained”, which marks the beginning of a new chapter and offers a first glimpse into the forthcoming album Burnt Imperium. The single was written and produced by Patrik Corrêa (guitarist) and Caroline Ferreira (vocals), with mixing, mastering, and co-recording handled by Niko Teixeira at Audiolab Extreme Studio (Brazil).
“This phase represents a major leap forward for Erudica. The new lineup is extremely cohesive, and that had a direct impact on the songwriting process. This new material is among the heaviest, most refined, and best-structured work we’ve ever created”, says Corrêa.
Ferreira also highlights the impact of the band’s renewed lineup, now featuring Dragos Iulian (bass) and Micael Sousa (drums): “Europe has always been a territory we aimed to conquer. Reaching it now with a revitalized and energized lineup makes it even more special. The shows will reflect exactly where we are as a band right now.”
Alongside its international expansion, Erudica is already planning its return to Brazil. The band will be available between June and July 2027 for a new run of performances, with booking now open for festivals, tours, and exclusive shows. Promoters and booking agents are invited to get in touch for further details.
Driven by a strong artistic vision and a clear identity, Erudica continues to represent Brazilian metal with authenticity and power on the international stage. Addressing urgent themes ranging from environmental devastation to resistance against oppressive systems, the band’s music resonates with a contemporary and globally aware audience.
More than simply expanding its reach, Erudica is firmly positioning itself as one of the most compelling emerging acts in the new generation of extreme metal.
