Progressive power metal outfit Fierce Atmospheres have dropped a brand-new release, The Versailles Records Sessions , a collection of 10 iconic covers recorded over several years for Nashville’s Versailles Records tribute compilations. Originally scattered across various double-CD sets alongside dozens of other bands, these tracks are now finally available together in one fierce package.
The Versailles Records Sessions pays homage to the bands who inspired Fierce Atmospheres’ sound, with faithful-yet-firecharged renditions of metal classics including:
“Children of the Damned” (Iron Maiden)
“Achilles Last Stand” (Led Zeppelin)
“Master of Puppets” (Metallica)
“A National Acrobat” (Black Sabbath)

The CD features slick design with a detailed story on the rear panel, and is available now via the band’s Bandcamp. Digital download and streaming in high-quality formats are also included.
This release is more than just a tribute — it’s a bridge. Fierce Atmospheres continue to honor their influences while charging full speed into the future. Their upcoming album, The Story So Far , is set for Spring 2026 , featuring King Diamond drummer Matt Thompson and recorded in Sweden with legendary producer Andy LaRocque (King Diamond, Sonic Train Studios).
“This collection shows where we came from,” the band says. “It’s our way of paying respect to the giants, while we move forward writing the next chapter of Fierce Atmospheres.”
