Driven by themes of meditation, introspection, and spiritual awakening, this new track deepens the project’s exploration of self-awareness and inner connection, offering listeners a sonic experience that is as immersive as it is thought-provoking.

Self-Discipline is a solo project born in 2023, giving form to a personal journey shaped by diverse musical influences and deep introspection. The project’s debut EP, Otherness, is set for release in 2025 via the Coups de Couteau label.

Blending the raw intensity of atmospheric and alternative metal with the rich textures of Indian folk music—including traditional instruments such as the tumbi, santur, dhol, tabla, harmonium, sitar, and tampura—Self-Discipline creates a sound that is as spiritually grounded as it is emotionally powerful. This unique fusion reflects a profound shift in the artist’s mindset, rooted in therapeutic work and a daily practice of meditation.

Lyrically and conceptually, Self-Discipline explores themes of self-awareness, spirituality, and inner freedom. Drawing on Eastern philosophy and occasionally intersecting with modern scientific thought, the songs delve into the search for emancipatory values, self-knowledge, and personal transformation. At its core, the music carries a message of hope, love, and self-love.
