Formed in Lyon, France, in 2014, GOATFATHER is a four-piece, high-voltage heavy stoner band blending stoner rock, southern rock, and heavy metal with crushing riffs and a raw, intoxicating energy. Their music channels a relentless quest for freedom, drawing inspiration from legends such as Orange Goblin, Corrosion of Conformity, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Black Sabbath, while forging a distinct voice that is simultaneously heavy and hypnotic.
Known for their electrifying live performances, GOATFATHER has played over 100 shows across France, including major festivals like SYLAK Open Air, and has supported international acts such as Crowbar and Stoned Jesus.
Following the critical success of ‘Hipster Fister‘ (2016) and ‘Monster Truck‘ (2021), GOATFATHER released its third album, House of the Rising Smoke last year. via the Italian imprint Argonauta Records, and continues to push boundaries, delivering music that combines riff-driven power with uncompromising spirit.
